Project Overview
Designed to cater for a more intimate service, the Chapel is a simple elliptical form with a single shaft of light bathing the front portion of the space. As construction of the Rose Chapel neared completion, we suggested to the Client that appropriate artworks would add a sensory tranquillity to the inner sanctuary of the chapel.
Following research, and via Manyung Gallieries, we proposed Wendy Grace a Melbourne artist to our client.
The artist prepared three beautifully layered pieces which are reflective of a bushland clearing where the play of sun and the dappled light cast by the trees can bring a sense of calm and sensory kindness.
