Project Overview
The Moruya Community Hub is essential for providing a space for social connection, well-being and support services set around a parkland: spaces for sharing information, active engagement, health and cultural exchange.
The design has been evolved to harmonise through biophilic form and material balance. We have created a composition of built forms which are nestled within their setting – physically, socially and culturally. The forms are fluid and sculpted to respond and mimic the organic, complex and harmonious geometries found in the natural surroundings of the site.
The proposal will invite community participation, carefully aligned with community expectations to become a natural extension of the social fabric, fulfilling both practical and social needs.
