Project Overview
The brief for the Master Plan at Macarthur Adventist College was to prepare a future focussed plan and renewal of the campus while strengthening the educational and spiritual facilities offered.
We saw the opportunity for adaptive re-use in some areas and upgrades for new specialist learning facilities and improvements to other key spaces such as the multipurpose hall. Using the unique ethos of the College, we created spaces that students want to gather in and where they feel supported.
Considering all facets of school connection points including traffic movement, landscaping, gathering spaces, zoning, spiritual we created site cohesion between Early Learning, Primary and Senior Schools including better visual connectivity around campus.
As part of this Master Plan process many smaller issues were raised that could be taken offline from the Masterplan and captured in an ongoing small capital works and improvements programme.
