Project Overview
For more than twenty-three years, since our inception, Wetherill Architects has been privileged to work alongside Northholm Grammar School in Arcadia. Throughout this long-standing partnership, we have been entrusted with the development of successive Master Plans and the delivery of key projects that support the School’s evolving educational vision and its changing student population. We are immensely proud of this enduring relationship.
The Margaret Duckworth Learning Precinct is the most recent outcome of this architectural journey. The facility offers eleven state-of-the-art teaching spaces that visually connect to the surrounding bushland.
Designed as both a precinct shelter and a defining architectural feature, the roof rests lightly above the building envelope, bring a sense of simplicity and elegance. Thoughtful use of controlled daylight and contextual, grounded materiality together foster a strong sense of well-being.
