Project Overview
Nearing completion, the Client approach Wetherill Architects to source appropriate artworks to add value to the celebration of the life of loved ones who have passed. Following an extensive search, we proposed the artist Greg Mallyon be commissioned to prepare four artworks for the public space connecting the function suites.
Greg is a painter of amazing abstract topographical images are inspired by an aerial perspective of the landscape below. We asked him if he would prepare works that celebrated some of Australia’s iconic rivers. These rivers are symbolic of our own human existence – the flow and progression, the beginning and the end.
